The Law of Attraction has become an increasingly present theme in my life, allowing me to manifest dreams and desires. However, many times, limiting beliefs and negative memories can block this process, becoming obstacles to achieving what you want.

That’s when, while researching ways to clear negative memories, I found EFT, a therapeutic technique that changed my life and will change yours too.

Understanding What is EFT and Its Connection to the Law of Attraction

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as Emotional Freedom Technique, is a therapeutic approach that combines needle-free acupuncture and psychology, using gentle taps on specific points of the body to release negative emotions and limiting beliefs.

When applied alongside the Law of Attraction, EFT becomes a powerful tool for clearing emotional and energetic blockages, allowing the universe to respond to our desires more effectively.

According to the Law of Attraction, the energy we emit into the universe is what we attract back to ourselves. Therefore, if we are vibrating at a frequency of fear, doubt, or scarcity, that’s what we will draw into our lives.

This is where EFT comes into play. By practicing EFT, we work directly with the emotions and beliefs influencing our energetic vibration. Releasing negative emotions and limiting beliefs through gentle taps on acupuncture points promotes a positive shift in our vibration, aligning us more closely with our desires and intentions.

Moreover, EFT helps us cultivate a mindset of confidence, gratitude, and self-love, which are essential for attracting positive experiences into our lives. When we feel worthy and deserving of our dreams, we are more likely to manifest them successfully.

One of the keys to using EFT effectively in manifestation is regular practice. By setting aside a few minutes each day to practice EFT and release the negative emotions that are blocking us from achieving our goals, we create space for the universe to respond to our desires more quickly and efficiently.

How to Start Practicing EFT

To begin practicing Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), it’s important to follow a few simple steps that will help direct your focus and maximize the benefits of this therapeutic technique. The first step is to list all the negative memories related to scarcity that you have. Write down each of these memories in detail, identifying the emotions and thoughts associated with them.

Once you’ve identified your negative memories about scarcity, it’s time to start working on each one with EFT. You can follow these steps:

When choosing a memory to work on during your Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practice, it’s essential to select a specific situation that represents the feeling of scarcity in your life. This memory may involve past experiences where you felt deprived of resources, faced financial struggles, or experienced lack in any area of your life. By identifying a specific memory, you can focus your energy and work more effectively on releasing the negative emotions associated with it.

When selecting the memory, it’s important to choose the one that resonates most strongly with you at the moment and feels most urgent to be addressed. It might be helpful to choose a memory that still evokes intense emotions or is significantly impacting your present life. By facing this memory with courage and a willingness to heal, you are taking an important step toward transformation and personal growth.

2. Assess the Emotional Intensity:

Before starting the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practice to work on a specific memory, it’s crucial to assess the emotional intensity associated with that memory. This can be done by assigning a value from 0 to 10, where 0 represents no emotional intensity at all, and 10 indicates the highest possible intensity.

Assessing the emotional intensity of the memory gives you a clear sense of its impact on you in the present moment. This initial evaluation serves as a reference point to track your progress throughout the EFT practice.

The higher the emotional intensity assigned to the memory, the more powerful the emotional charge it carries and the more impact it has on your daily life. Therefore, when starting the healing process with EFT, it’s important to be aware of the level of emotional discomfort present so you can effectively measure results and notice any changes over time.

3. Prepare an Affirmation Phrase:

When preparing an affirmation phrase to work with during the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practice, it’s essential to create a positive statement that opposes the negative emotion or belief associated with the memory. This phrase should be short, clear, and powerful, able to reprogram your mind into a more positive and receptive state.

When choosing an affirmation phrase, it’s important to be specific and focused on the issue being addressed. For example, if the memory involves feelings of scarcity, your affirmation phrase could be: “I choose to release the belief in scarcity and make space for abundance in my life.” This direct and positive statement challenges the negative belief of scarcity, replacing it with a mindset of abundance and prosperity.

By repeating this affirmation phrase during EFT practice, you reinforce the new positive belief in your subconscious mind, creating a solid foundation for personal transformation and growth. Regular practice can help reprogram limiting thought patterns and pave the way for a more fulfilling and abundant life.

4. Apply the EFT Tapping Sequence:

When applying the Emotional Freedom Techniques tapping sequence, it’s important to follow a specific order to stimulate acupuncture points and release the negative emotions associated with the memory. Start by gently tapping on the karate chop point, located on the side of your hand, while repeating your affirmation phrase out loud to anchor the new positive belief.

Next, proceed to tap a series of acupuncture points on your face and body, including the eyebrow point, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, on the chin, collarbone, and 4 fingers below the armpit. As you tap each point, continue repeating your affirmation phrase to reinforce the new positive perspective.

It’s important to stay focused on the emotions and sensations that arise during the process, allowing negative emotions to dissipate and making space for a new positive perspective. Continue this process for a few minutes, breathing deeply and keeping a clear intention of releasing negative emotions and cultivating a more positive and empowered mindset.

5. Reassess the Emotional Intensity:

After completing the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practice, it’s important to take a moment to reassess the emotional intensity of the original memory that you worked on. This step is crucial to measure progress and observe the effects of the technique in reducing the negative emotions associated with the memory.

When reassessing the emotional intensity, you may notice a significant reduction in the intensity of the negative emotions. This can manifest as a sense of relief, calmness, or even a complete release of the negative emotion. It’s possible that the memory, which once triggered intense emotional reactions, now feels less charged and disturbing.

Reevaluating the emotional intensity also helps identify areas that may still need to be addressed with EFT. If the emotional intensity hasn’t decreased as much as you’d like, this may indicate the need to continue practicing the technique and further explore the emotions associated with the memory.

Repeat this process for each of the negative memories about scarcity that you listed, paying special attention to the emotions and thoughts that arise during the practice. Over time and with consistent practice, you may experience a profound transformation in how you perceive and experience scarcity, making space for a more abundant and prosperous life.
